Barbecue Ketchup Recipe

A healthier alternative to store-bought BBQ sauces!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients and stir to combine
  • Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Transfer to a jar or container with a tight-fitting lid and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
