Grilled Crab

In this recipe you will try a simple yet very delicious seafood on the grill

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 Cup White Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Minced Ginger
  • 1 Jalapeno
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp Cilantro
  • 2 Large fresh crabs
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions
 

  • To prepare the sauce, mix vinegar, sugar, oil, ginger, jalapeno, garlic and cilantro in a small bowl
  • Put the crab in a large pot with water and boil until simmer for 5 minutes
  • Remove the crab from the water and remove the triangular part from the middle
  • Lift of the crab shell
  • Clean gills from the crab
  • Preheat the grill to medium heat
  • Place the crab, brush it with the mixture you did before and close the lid for about 3 minutes
  • Grill the crab on the other side and brush again with the mixture for more 6 minutes
  • When the meat becomes opaque, this means that the crab is ready
  • Serve the crab on a serving platter and garnish with lemon wedges

Crab is a very good source of phosphorus which is important for healthy teeth and bones, it is also rich in omega-3 which is very important for the nervous system and the heart. And like all seafood, crab is a rich source of vitamin B as well.
