Grilled Lamb Burgers with Cilantro-Lime Sauce

These burgers can be served as an entrée or appetizer and are sure to be a hit at any gathering.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Cilantro-Lime Sauce:

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, garlic, onion, cumin, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix together until everything is evenly incorporated.
  • Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties.
  • Brush each patty with olive oil.
  • Place patties on the preheated grill and cook for 6 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  • Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine yogurt, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, salt and pepper. Mix until everything is evenly incorporated.
  • When burgers are done, remove from the grill and place on burger buns. Top with tomato slices and lettuce leaves.
  • Serve burgers with the cilantro-lime sauce on the side. Enjoy!
