Grilled Nectarines with White Chocolate-Hazelnut Sauce

  • 4 ripe nectarines
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup hazelnuts, chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat.
  • Cut the nectarines in half and remove the pits. Brush the cut sides of the nectarines with melted butter.
  • In a small bowl, combine the white sugar, brown sugar, white chocolate chips, hazelnuts, cinnamon, and salt. Sprinkle the mixture over the butter-brushed nectarines.
  • Place the nectarines cut-side down on the preheated grill. Grill for 4-5 minutes, or until the nectarines are lightly charred and the sugars are melted and bubbling.
  • Remove from the grill and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Enjoy!
