  • 1 ground turkey
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup diced avocado
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, onion, red bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, make the salsa. In a medium bowl, combine the tomatoes, avocado, cilantro, and lime juice. Mix until well combined.
  • To serve, top each turkey burger patty with the salsa. Enjoy!
