Meatloaf Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bread
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix everything together except bread crumbs.
- Add bread crumbs and mix well.
- Form into an oval loaf and place in a 4×8 baking pan.
- Top with additional BBQ sauce.
- Cover with foil and place on the grill for 45 minutes with the led covered or until fully cooked.
- Remove place meatloaf on a plate. Let rest for 20 minutes.
- Slice meatloaf into slices
- Butter one side of each piece of bread.
- On the grill place a slice of bread buttered side down
- Place a piece of cheese followed by slices of meatloaf to cover the bread. Top with another slice of cheese and then the other piece of bread.
- Cook until bread is toasted, flip over and cook the other side.
