New York Strip Steak Grill
There are many names for the strip steak but one of the most famous ones is the “New york strip steak”. This name goes back to 1827 when Delmonico’s Restaurant opened in New york and had the steak as a signature dish, so the owner named the dish based on the city. In this recipe, you will try to grill the strip steak with simple ingredients and have a very tender and delicious meat at the end.

- 2 Strip Steaks
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1 tsp Wrocestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Fresh Thyme Leaves
Instructions
- Before grilling, add the salt and pepper to the steaks in a bowl.
- Preheat your grill to High heat, for around 900 F
- Combine all ingredients for the compound butter in a small bowl. Place a spoon of the compound butter mixture on the serving platter.
- Place the steaks directly on the grill grates at a diagonal. For a medium rare steak, cook 2-3 minutes, then rotate 45 degrees and grill for 2-3 more minutes.
- Remove the steaks from the grill and place them on the serving platter.

This kind of meat is very tender and easy to be prepared, the good thing is that this cut doesn’t contain lots of fat which is suitable for people with heart problems or diabetes.
